Janitor

About the role

Community Health Centers of South Central Texas, Inc. (CHCSCT, Inc.), a FQHC, is seeking a diligent and reliable individual to join our team as a Full-Time Janitor for our Gonzales Community Health Center location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies.
• Notify management of any maintenance issues or repairs needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Requirements

• Prior experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
• Strong communication skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects if necessary.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
