Job Overview

Clean offices, event room, conference room, lobby, employee entrance, lunchrooms, vending machines, hallways, restrooms and shop floor, timeclocks, eye wash/ear plug stations, AED stations, empty and remove trash. Operate floor sweeper in manufacturing plant. Order cleaning and paper supplies.

Responsibilities

• Actively observe and promote BWISE safety standards.
• Follow schedule given by Maintenance Supervisor.
• Clean offices, event room, conference room, lobby, employee entrance, lunchrooms, vending machines, hallways, restrooms and shop floor, timeclocks, and eye wash/ear plug stations.
• Vacuum all mats and clean cobwebs in lobby and main office.
• Wipe out microwaves, refrigerators, and wipe down tables in lunchrooms.
• Clean 10 restrooms: mop floors, clean walls, wipe down sinks, urinals, and toilets, and refill soap and paper products.
• Empty trash cans into dumpsters from offices, restrooms, and shop area.
• Operate floor sweeper and keep plant floor free of scrap metal, dirt and other debris.
• Wipe up any spills of oil, water or other liquid immediately.
• Check and fill hand sanitizers.
• Wash windows at entrances and front lobby.
• Order cleaning and paper supplies.
• Keep work areas and hand tools clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting, bending and squatting frequently.
• Standing for 8‑10 hours daily.
• Getting on and off the sweeper frequently throughout the day.
