Janitor

About the role

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the production facilities.

Responsibilities

• Remove and/or spray weeds around buildings.
• Remove weeds from all islands in parking lot (weekly).
• Remove snow/ice from walkways and doors as needed.
• Sweep both buildings.
• Run floor cleaner in both buildings (twice per week).
• Clean mezzanine’s (bi-weekly).
• Clean all inside and outside windows (monthly).
• Dust offices (weekly).
• Replace burnt lightbulbs (as needed).
• Clean walls.
• Collect trash from outside receptacles.
• Replace down draft filters and HVAC filters.
• Remove/discard broken pallets.
• Painting as needed.
• Assist with other janitorial duties – act as main backup to janitors.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Requirements

A high school diploma with previous work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Position Details

This is an hourly, full-time position with no direct supervisory responsibilities and no travel required. The shift is 8am - 6pm, Monday - Thursday, with some possible 2nd shift coverage.
