Jail Coordinator

About the Role

The Community Bridges Inc. (CBI) Jail Coordinator is responsible for delivering treatment and discharge planning services to identify County Jail Program Patients. The Jail Coordinator assists inmates with jail release planning and coordinates behavioral health services. They participate in weekly staffing with probation and jail staff to provide updates on each patient and coordinate care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience in a criminal justice setting, behavioral health, physical health, or substance abuse setting required.
  • Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record required.
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and receive clearance to enter the County Jail.
