JAG Team Leader

About the role

Forward Service Corporation (FSC) is a not‑for‑profit firm that provides employment and training services to local, state, and federally funded program participants. The full‑time JAG Team Leader will coordinate JAG programs in alignment with FSC’s goals, policies, and JAG National guidelines, delivering program services, technical assistance, monitoring, and evaluation to help participants achieve independence and self‑sufficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct student services by identifying, recruiting, and instructing students facing multiple barriers to academic advancement, graduation, or successful transition to a career.
• Supervise JAG Career Specialists.
• Develop employer relationships within the community and market employment programs for JAG students.
• Deliver curriculum and ensure students achieve specific JAG competencies through classroom instruction.
• Recruit eligible students from a variety of qualified sources to maintain an appropriate pool for program standards.
• Oversee recruitment of JAG‑eligible individuals within target populations to meet program standards for all FSC JAG programs.
• Contact private and public employers to promote specific employment programs for JAG students.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and positive perceptions of the JAG program within schools.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with school personnel, including teachers, administrators, students, and Advisory Committee members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Three (3) or more years of work‑related experience with supervisory responsibilities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Wisconsin Teaching License is preferred.

Pay

Minimum starting salary: $70,800.84 per year. Additional compensation is based on direct experience beyond the minimum requirements (e.g., 3 additional years → $71,862.86/yr; 5 additional years → $74,034.91/yr).
