JAG Team Leader

About the Role

Forward Service Corporation (FSC), a passionate, not-for-profit firm, is seeking a full-time JAG Team Leader to help program participants achieve their dreams. The home office is located at 4600 American Pkwy #301, Madison, WI 53718. This position is primarily responsible for the coordination of JAG programs, consistent with the goals, policies, and procedures of Forward Service and JAG National. It involves implementation of program services, technical assistance, program monitoring, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct student services by identifying, recruiting, and instructing students deemed to have multiple barriers to advancing to the next grade level, achieving graduation, and/or making a successful transition from school to a career with advancement opportunities.
• Supervise JAG Career Specialists.
• Develop employer relationships within the community.
• Provide appropriate curriculum and ensure students achieve specific JAG competencies through classroom instruction.
• Ensure an appropriate pool of students by directly recruiting students through a variety of qualified sources.
• Oversee recruitment of JAG-eligible individuals within the required target populations to achieve program standards for all FSC JAG programs.
• Contact private and public employers to market specific employment programs for JAG students.
• Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure positive perceptions of the JAG program within schools by developing and maintaining positive, effective working relationships with school personnel, including teachers, administrators, students, and members of the Advisory Committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three (3) plus years of work-related experience with supervisory responsibilities and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Wisconsin Teaching License is preferred.

Pay

FSC offers a competitive wage for this full-time, exempt position with a minimum starting salary of $70,800.84/yr, with additional compensation based on direct experience beyond the minimum requirements. Examples include: meeting only minimum requirements starts at $70,800.84/yr; with 3 additional years of direct experience starts at $71,862.86/yr; 5 additional years of direct experience starts at $74,034.91/yr, etc.
