Responsible for safely operating electric and manual pallet jacks to transport poultry products, ingredients, packaging materials, and supplies throughout the facility. This role supports production flow, inventory movement, and operational efficiency while adhering to Tyson Foods' safety, quality, and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate electric and manual pallet jacks to move products and materials throughout the plant.
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies to designated production and storage areas.
  • Load, unload, stack, and position pallets as directed.
  • Maintain continuous product flow to support production schedules.
  • Inspect pallet jacks and equipment before use and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
  • Verify product identification and ensure materials are delivered to the correct locations.
  • Follow all food safety, quality assurance, and sanitation procedures.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
  • Comply with Tyson Foods policies, USDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and workplace safety standards.
  • Assist with inventory control, product movement, and other production duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must have 6 months of experience within the last 12 months.
  • Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • This facility will not accept applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods more than 3 times.
  • Rehires are accepted after 365 days.
