About the role

This position works alongside journeymen‑level mechanical maintenance technicians performing routine maintenance and many duties independently. The world‑class Manufacturing Training program provides hands‑on experience and classroom instruction to prepare you for promotion.

Duties

• Millwright: Install machines and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and drawings; align equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, dial indicators, and laser alignment equipment; install new and existing machinery; repair and lubricate machines; refurbish/maintain valves, pumps, gear boxes, bearings, agitators, conveyors, turbines, paper machines, and lime kilns; measure bearing clearance and shaft diameters; troubleshoot equipment reliability issues; fabricate structural materials as needed; other duties as assigned.
• Machinist: Fit and assemble parts to fabricate or repair industrial machines; observe and listen to operating equipment to diagnose malfunctions; read blueprints, field drawings, and machine parts; use measuring equipment; repair, reproduce, or rebuild various parts; understand material machining properties; fabricate machine parts; perform machine alignment and field machining; operate cranes, tow motors, and forklifts; troubleshoot equipment reliability issues; other duties as assigned.
• Welding: Read and interpret welding blueprints, select appropriate processes and materials, and operate welding equipment safely; perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques, ensuring proper joint preparation and weld quality; perform welding and burning as needed; conduct field measurements and installations; assemble and install pipes and valves according to layout plans and drawings; operate overhead cranes, tow motors, and forklifts; fabricate structural materials and pipes as needed; other duties as assigned.
• Pipefitter: Read and interpret blueprints and drawings; perform welding or brazing as needed; conduct field measurements and installations; assemble and install pipes and valves according to layout plans and drawings; fabricate structural materials and pipes as needed; conduct pressure testing to ensure integrity; understand specifications and regulations related to plumbing and piping systems; other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Eligible for employment in the United States.
• Five (5) years of work experience in any two of the following mechanical disciplines: Millwright, Machinist, Welding, or Pipefitting.
• Willingness to work in industrial conditions (warm/hot, dusty, hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, elevated surfaces, confined spaces with proper safety training).
• Completion of technical online testing, interview, and a formal hands‑on skills assessment.
• Pass a drug screen and a job‑related health assessment; agree to periodic drug screens.
• Ability to work any shift or rotating shift schedule, overtime with short notice, and holidays/weekends as required.
• Wear required safety equipment at all times.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree or certifications in Millwright, Machinist, Welding, or Pipefitting; additional five (5) years of experience in any two of those disciplines; relevant industrial experience; strong critical‑thinking, teamwork, dependability, and self‑motivation.

Pay

$45.35 per hour.

Schedule

Full‑Time, Days (7 am – 3 pm) Monday – Friday.
