The Retail Sales Associate (RSA) is the ultimate guide through the guests’ shopping experience, creating memorable experiences and "Raving Fans" through exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and answering questions accurately and politely.
• Answering the phone and directing guests to areas/restrooms.
• Making proficient sales transactions using a point-of-sale system.
• Handling cash and other forms of payment while maintaining proper cash drawer balances.
• Demonstrating impeccable product knowledge and determining guests’ needs through 1-on-1 conversations.
• Suggestive selling using proven techniques (e.g., related items, higher-quality items, transitional phrases).
• Maintaining a clean and organized store, including proper product stock levels through retail pulls and inventories.
• Displaying retail products according to HRC’s visual display standards.
• Performing opening, closing, and side duties (e.g., cleaning glass, polishing brass, sweeping, vacuuming, folding product).
• Assuring complete guest satisfaction and creating memorable experiences.
• Entertaining guests to foster a unique and engaging atmosphere.

Requirements

• Ability to remain calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere.
• High level of organization, attention-to-detail, and sense-of-urgency.
• Positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests.
• Maintaining a well-groomed appearance and following all uniform guidelines.
• Practicing all general safety and sanitation standards, including recycling where possible.
• Upholding HRC’s 5 core Values and Mission Statement.

Physical Demands

• Ability to move throughout the corporate office and cafes (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists.
• Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.
• Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hands above shoulders.
• Ability to occasionally, regularly, or frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 10 pounds.
• Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environments.
• Ability to travel via auto or airplane for long periods.
