J1 International Internship | Rooms Operation
Job Description
The J-1 International Rooms internship provides hands-on experience in the Front Office/ Rooms Division. Interns work alongside front office leadership and team members to develop practical hospitality experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming arrival and departure experience
- Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism and urgency
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests
- Process payments, reservations, and room assignments using hotel systems
- Uphold brand standards and ensure a high level of guest service at all times
- Aid with concierge-style services when needed (directions, recommendations, etc.)
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for a J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa (Culinary Internship or Trainee Program)
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a culinary or hospitality program
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations
- Strong interest in learning and developing culinary skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
