About the Project
Air-Handling Unit (AHU) Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Filter Evaluation for the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System at two campuses:
- 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, NE 68105
- 2201 N Broadwell Avenue, Grand Island, NE 68803
Period of performance: 01 September 2026 – 31 August 2031 (5-year firm-fixed-price contract).
Scope of Work
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all AHUs, including but not limited to: inspection, cleaning, lubrication, belt/tension adjustment, motor and drive evaluation, coil cleaning, drain-pan treatment, and filter replacement.
- Conduct filter-efficiency evaluation using ASHRAE 52.2 MERV testing protocols; provide written report of findings and recommendations for each AHU.
- Submit quarterly PM reports in the format specified in the solicitation documentation.
- Comply with all VA safety, infection-control, and facility-access requirements detailed in the attached solicitation.
Requirements
- Offerors must be registered and current in the System for Award Management (SAM) at sam.gov.
- Offerors must hold a valid SDVOSB certification at time of quote submission.
