Job Summary

Manages multiple projects from beginning to successful completion, including defining project scope and objectives, creating project plans/schedules, establishing and tracking metrics, and engaging with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develops project management plans, project documentation, work breakdown structures, project schedules, integrated master schedules, financial reports, and risk management documentation.
  • Manages project's scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
  • Manages retirements and remnant clean-up of applications across the organization.
  • Revises outdated compliance reviews for hundreds of information resources.
  • Ongoing updates to vital documents.
  • Retires applications/systems across large organizations, verifying remnant removal to minimize security risks.
  • Advises application stakeholders through the retirement process.
  • Knowledgeable about and experienced with the SDLC Retirement/Decommission process.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills, including the ability to create project-related and training documentation, prepare presentations, and brief executives, managers, and peers.
  • Experience in information security and understanding of the information resource accreditation process.
  • Knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity policies and processes to review, understand, and provide inputs to internal security policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training documents.
  • Experience in creating and managing SharePoint sites, including Team sites, customizing and managing content on SharePoint sites, including documents, lists, and libraries.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or similar credentials preferred but not required.

Requirements

  • Thirteen (13) to twenty (20) years' relevant experience.
  • A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services preferred.
  • Four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a college degree required.
  • Four additional years of related experience if the degree is not in the applicable field required.
  • Works on high-visibility, or mission critical aspects of a given program, and performs all functional duties independently.
  • Oversees the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.

Additional Provisions

  • Passes a client-mandated clearance process including drug screening, criminal history check, and credit check.
  • All candidates must be a US Citizen or have permanent residence status (Green Card).
  • Candidate must have lived in the US for the past 5 years.
  • Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years.
  • Military service excluded (exception does not include military family members).
