About the role
The Commercial Engineer – Mobile Water Solutions plays a crucial role in supporting Aquatech's growth in the mobile water treatment market across North America. This position requires a commercially minded engineer with strong technical and commercial skills.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with sales teams to develop technical solutions aligned with customer requirements and commercial strategy.
- Evaluate customer needs, site conditions, and water challenges to design a fit-for-purpose mobile treatment system.
- Develop cost models, pricing inputs, and technical scopes for proposals.
- Prepare high-quality technical and commercial proposals, including process design, equipment selection, and value positioning.
- Work creatively to optimize solutions for competitiveness, speed of deployment, and profitability.
- Cook up with engineering, operations, and supply chain to validate feasibility and execution approach.
- Support customer meetings, technical discussions, and solution presentations.
- Contribute to the standardization of mobile offerings and the continuous improvement of proposal tools and processes.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications / Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, or similar), 5 or more years of experience in water treatment, process engineering, or a related field, Strong understanding of water treatment technologies (e.g., filtration, RO, IX, biological systems), Experience supporting sales or working in a commercial/technical interface role preferred, Demonstrated ability to develop cost estimates and support pricing strategies.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
