Role Overview

This position supports physicians in the Interventional Radiology Department, assisting with procedures, equipment operation, and patient care. The role involves obtaining patient histories, explaining procedures, assisting during interventions, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and ensuring radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling
• Maintaining equipment and supplies
• Performing imaging reconstructions
• Responding to emergencies

Qualifications & Skills

• An Associate’s Degree
• ARRT-RT certification
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull 150 lbs, and wear lead aprons for extended periods
• Excellent communication
• Confidentiality
• Crisis management
• Customer service
• Proficiency with electronic health records
