IVA and Digital Platform Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of Interactive Virtual Assistant (IVA) Digital/chat solutions, including intent recognition, entity extraction, dialogue flow management, API Connections, and response generation.
• Leverage IVA/Digital development platforms (e.g., Kore.ai, Google Dialogflow, Amazon Lex, Microsoft Bot Framework) to build, configure, train, and deploy conversational agents.
• Integrate IVA/Digital with backend systems using REST and SOAP Web Services.
• Implement, fine-tune, and optimize NLU models for intent accuracy and entity recognition; develop NLG templates and strategies.
• Conduct UAT/QA testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Analyze conversation logs and user interactions for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and data scientists.
• Stay updated on Conversational AI, NLP, and emerging technologies like Small Language Models (SLMs).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Linguistics, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with a Conversational AI Platform.
• Experience with Generative AI (Gen AI) concepts, especially in conversational AI products.
• Experience with Natural Language Processing.
• Proficiency in Node.js for chatbot backend development.
• Experience with REST and SOAP Web Services.
• Experience in Design and Solution Architecture for chatbots and voicebots.
• Minimum 3+ years professional experience developing IVR/Digital, Voicebots, Chatbots, or Conversational AI solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Web Services (REST, SOAP).
• Strong expertise in Java, Python, and Node.js.
• Proficiency in JSON.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB).
• Solid understanding of NLP and NLU (intent classification, entity extraction, dialogue management).
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience with Small Language Models (SLMs) for conversational tasks is preferred.
