IV Therapist

About the role

Department: IV Therapy/Medical Treatment Unit. This position provides professional nursing care to patients requiring intravenous therapy in the inpatient and outpatient settings.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing with current Pennsylvania licensure or eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Two years previous experience in being proficient with IV insertion.
• Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with Infusion-ports, PICC line care, maintenance, insertion of PICC lines and Midline Catheters (IVT).
• Prior experience in outpatient IV Treatments.

Schedule

Part time, Mon-Fri rotating shifts 7-330, 8-430, 11a-7pm. Rotating weekends: Sat-Sun 7-330pm. No holidays.
