ITG Journeyman

About the role

AirReps, a division of Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, is seeking a professional, skilled ITG Journeyman in Bellevue, Washington. The role supports the service group and sales staff, performing startup, service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC products, including Variable Refrigerant Flow systems, VFD‑controlled AHUs, RTUs, chillers, and more.

Responsibilities

• Support the service group and sales staff with HVAC startup, service, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Startup, commissioning and servicing for Daikin VRV systems.
• HVAC equipment replacement, installation, and retrofit.
• Startup and commissioning of HVAC products including Daikin Applied, Daikin North America, Huntair, Temtrol, Venmar, and BAC cooling towers.
• Work closely with service coordinators for daily direction and scheduling.
• Maintain a safe work environment and take personal responsibility for safety.
• Assist with required start‑up, warranty paperwork, and service reports in a timely manner.
• Operate a company vehicle safely (clean driving record).
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 5+ years of HVAC experience (DOE).
• Certification from an accredited HVAC trade school or Journeyman card from an approved apprenticeship.
• Washington State L&I O6A Journeyman Electrical license.
• EPA 608 Universal License.
• OSHA 30 certification (desired).
• CPR certification.
• Ability to lift over 75 pounds and work in extreme indoor/outdoor conditions, including lifts and ladders.
• Clean driving record and ability to operate a company vehicle safely.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer‑sponsored sponsorship.

Skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Computer proficiency for navigating factory diagnostic and commissioning programs/tools.
• Self‑motivated with creative problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision.
• Team player with mentoring capabilities.

Pay

Pay range: $68.47 per hour plus union benefits (Local 32), subject to UA 32 pay schedule.

Schedule

Standard work schedule is Monday through Friday with flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
