Responsibilities

• Use FIS application VisionIP to enter amounts and accounts on items that were not read by the applications.
• Balance transactions within each run for EWB customers.
• Correct all items with rejected fields.
• Accurately locate errors and generate appropriate adjustments and corrections.
• Prepare run files and provide to Computer Operator for transmission.
• Answer proof telephone calls and emails from bank associates to assist with problem solving, as necessary.
• Receive daily courier deliveries for check processing.
• Verify coding errors and identify duplicate items.
• Escalate problems to management.
• Comply with policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in Item Processing activities.
• Knowledge of FIS application VisionIP.
• Operational experience within the Financial Industry.
• Read, write, and understand the English language.
• Excellent writing and verbal skills.
• 10-key experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Mandarin and/or Cantonese.

Skills

• Basic knowledge of operations, Item Processing, proof, and transit.
• Demonstrated clerical, reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Ability to collect and organize information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is USD $20.00/Hr. - USD $23.50/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
