IT TECHNICIAN - SR. IT TECHNICIAN - Solar System Science & Exploration - Boulder, CO

Job Summary

The Solar System Science & Exploration Division is located in Boulder, Colorado. The Computer and Software Sciences section is seeking an IT technician to support IT services in the Division. By joining our team, you will receive an additional $500 in your first paycheck, minus taxes.

About the Role

This role requires to be full time in-office.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support for a variety of computer operating systems such as Windows, MacOS and Linux.
• Set up new computing hardware for end users.
• Afford assistance to more senior IT staff with appropriate tasks, e.g. server installations.
• Handle ticketing system requests from end users for IT support.
• Work on IT issues with other IT support team members.

Requirements

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of experience with IT support.
• Experience with Windows and MacOS preferred, Linux experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. person (i.e., U.S. citizen, non-U.S. citizen national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) due to ITAR work in section.

Pay

Salary Range: $17.56 - $35.89
