The Technology Reliability Engineering and Operations (TREO) organization is a key information technology group supporting our valued internal and external customers. TREO aligns through the Chief Technology Officer and provides IT services such as hosting, security operations, application, voice, business intelligence infrastructure, collaboration services, and end user support.

This position supports our Zions Technology Center, operational offices, and branch locations across the Salt Lake Valley. Our team is comprised of both full-time employees and contingent workers spread across 15+ states and three countries.

Responsibilities

• Support the Information Technology Department with installing, administering, and maintaining the infrastructure of desktops, laptops, and other hardware
• Installation, setup, and maintenance of workstations including workstation hardware components, base operating systems, networking, and software environments
• Assist with troubleshooting workstation, application, and environmental problems
• Support server systems from an operating system and shared services perspective
• Assist systems administrative team members in providing overall environment support
• Make recommendations on areas of improvement
• Provide quality analysis and subject matter expertise
• Assist internal resources to provide the best possible administrative support
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and supportive manner

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent and at least 1+ years' experience with computers, networks, computer software, and hardware in a field services or related IT support role (a combination of education and experience may meet qualifications)
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record (driving is an essential function of this role)
• Proficient knowledge of application software, networks, PCs, LANs, and terminals
• Enterprise networking, hardware, and server experience highly preferred
• N+ certification is a plus, not required
• Leadership, QA, or related experience within the field
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and make appropriate corrections and/or recommendations
• Must be able to meet deadlines and work with customers on a daily basis
• Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline
• Some overtime may be necessary on an “as needed” basis

Location

This position is fully in-office (5 days a week) at the Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT and supports locations in the Salt Lake Valley. The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah, located on the former Sharon Steel Mill superfund site. The sustainably built campus is the company’s primary technology and operations center and features:
