About the role

Situation Group, a global collective of digital-first advertising agencies and an award-winning nonprofit, seeks an IT Technician to provide day-to-day desktop and network support.

Responsibilities

• Provide cross-platform support for a mixed environment of macOS and Windows workstations
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot various software used by different departments
• Maintain the agency's internal network, ensuring high-speed connectivity for large media file transfers and cloud backups
• Manage the deployment, imaging, and repair of laptops, desktops, and peripherals
• Set up and troubleshoot conference room technology for high-stakes client pitches
• Lead IT orientation for new hires, ensuring all hardware, software, and access permissions are ready on Day 1

Requirements

• Experience: 2-3 years of professional IT support experience, preferably within a creative agency, production house, or similar fast-paced industry
• Certifications: Active CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications are required
• OS Expertise: Deep knowledge of macOS and Windows troubleshooting
• Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and WiFi troubleshooting
• Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts to "non-techy" creative professionals with patience and clarity
