IT Technician

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing computer hardware and software systems in a variety of environments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to computers, servers, and networks.
• Install and configure new hardware and software solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance.
• Provide technical support to end-users as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in IT support or repair.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with network troubleshooting and setup.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of common networking protocols and technologies.
• Experience with remote access tools and software.
