IT Technician 1
About the Role
Emerson is seeking an IT Support Technician to join their Rosemount Specialty Products team in East Wenatchee, WA. This role reports to the IT Manager and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the business through vital manufacturing support, technical problem-solving, and innovation. At RSP, we build custom sensors for extreme environments, from deep ocean to outer space, in a location that provides ample outdoor recreation opportunities like hiking, skiing, fishing, and mountain biking.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, deploy, and maintain Windows 10/11 on desktop and laptop systems.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for hardware, software, operating systems, and peripheral devices.
- Deploy operating system images and application packages.
- Troubleshoot complex desktop, application, printing, networking, and authentication issues.
- Administer Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and Office.
- Manage Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID), Group Policy, and user account management.
- Monitor endpoint health and proactively resolve recurring issues.
- Coordinate hardware lifecycle management including procurement, deployment, refreshes, and asset tracking.
- Collaborate with server, network, cybersecurity, and application teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
- Document technical procedures, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain software inventory and ensure licensing compliance.
- Evaluate and test new hardware, operating systems, and applications before production deployment.
- Support conference room technology, docking stations, monitors, and audiovisual equipment.
- Participate in on-call support and after-hours maintenance as required.
Requirements
- Zero to one year of applicable experience.
- Associate Degree in Computer Science or related IT field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft 365 applications.
- Experience in a corporate IT environment.
- Experience supporting end users.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Pay
The hourly range for this role is $26.88 - $30.18 per hour, commensurate with skills, talent, capabilities, and experience.
