About the role

You can expect to collaborate with functional teams to define a vision for systems and processes that support their needs. You will lead the design of future-state solutions and provide hands-on support for their development, migration, and integration. Solutions may include business process redesign, third-party software implementation, and custom software development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand their needs and communicate ideas.
• Identify opportunities to unlock value through new solutions or rethinking existing ones.
• Stay connected to industry trends and disseminate knowledge to team members.
• Develop product roadmaps by partnering with team members in each functional area.
• Create and present comparative analyses of solution options and make recommendations.
• Prioritize investments and efforts across product backlogs.
• Support project teams on as-needed basis for technical quality assurance and design guidance.
• Coach project teams on solution design, patterns, and practices, and delivery methods.
• Analyze and redesign business processes to achieve their optimal state.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, or a combination of relevant hands-on experience in the retail energy industry and technology.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience with technical architecture and systems implementation.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience with Microsoft Azure, including cloud architecture, networking/security fundamentals, and CI/CD pipeline deployment.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps practices, and business process engineering (Lean).
• A strong background in data architecture, including ETL pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Experience integrating enterprise SaaS solutions, working with authorization tools (e.g., Okta), and implementing event-driven architectures and design patterns.
• Active involvement in the technology community and staying current with emerging trends, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong leadership capabilities and a genuine passion for technology and continuous improvement.
• The ability to quickly adapt to new tasks and accommodate changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A strong background as a subject-matter expert, respected by peers, clients, and within the broader industry.

Pay

Salary Range: $117,300 – $179,860 USD annually. This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
