Responsibilities
- Lead a team, work on exciting projects, and grow in a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams, setting high standards for software design, coding, testing, build, deployment, and operations.
- Define, design, and deliver technical improvements and capabilities based on technical debt identification, strategic architectural direction, and business needs.
- Write high-quality, well-documented, and efficient code.
- Bring extensive software development experience to the team, staying current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Implement and uphold software development standards and quality assurance processes to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with architects and senior developers to design scalable, maintainable, and efficient software solutions.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and other technical teams to define and deliver solutions.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices, and to improve other team members.
- Afford assistance with estimation of responsible technical area and applications.
- Assist in resolving complex technical challenges and provide guidance to team members.
- Mentor and coach junior developers, helping them grow their technical skills.
- Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free software.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize Java, .NET, PowerBuilder applications for maximum efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software solutions into the business process.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, code documentation, and deployment guides.
Qualifications
- Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree Major: Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Job-Related Experience: 8+ years software development experience.
- Proven experience in .NET or Java development, SQL, and related technologies.
- Proficiency in version control systems. (e.g.: Git)
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies.
