About the role

The Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS) is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Application Developer to join our team. As a member of the DPSCS team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission of promoting safety through innovative restorative justice projects.

Position duties

- Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain application, communication, database, or operating systems software. - Deliver enterprise-scale applications with multi-tier architecture, supporting over 100 users or equivalent complexity. - Develop program code using .NET/C#, Java, JavaScript, and React. - Handle large datasets (over 1 million records) and manage complex data engineering tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

- Seven years of experience in designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining application, communication, database, or operating systems software. - Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field with three years of experience. - One year of experience in designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining application, communication, database, or operating systems software. - Experience operating computer systems, scheduling input/output, evaluating and implementing computer hardware/software, and converting data from project specifications.

Selective Qualifications

- Ten years of experience in enterprise application development. - Proficiency in .NET/C#, Java, JavaScript/React, and Microsoft SQL Server. - Experience with T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS, and handling large datasets.
