- Salary range: $150,000 - $210,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and the abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.
Description
Review existing construction drawings with an initial focus on IT networking and communications requirements for a new Military Construction project (MILCON) located in Southern California.
Support Engineering Change Requests and Requests for Information as needed.
Coordinate for installation of 8 different classified and unclassified networks and 2 Telecommunications (phone) systems.
Build will house 250 seats; most seats will have multiple networks.
Create a recommended procurement list for any networks that require complete or partial replacement.
Work with Government points of contact to procure necessary hardware.
Anticipate 100% Level of Effort on-site in CA for first 6 months of this task, then 50-75% thereafter.
Coordinate directly with Construction team to include NAVFAC Construction Manager, MILCON Project Officer, end user, existing IT team, and contractors.
Requirements
Senior Systems Architect or Engineer with strong Information Technology (IT) Background and Project Management experience.
Experience with IT and Security requirements for constructing a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF)
Familiarity with: Technical Specifications for Construction and Management of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (Intelligence Community Specification (ICS) 705)
