About the Opportunity

The IT Systems Auditor-II is responsible for assessing and ensuring compliance of financial and information systems with federal regulations and standards. This role plays a key part in evaluating controls within enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and other financial systems to support government program integrity and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Apply the Federal Financial Improvement Act (FFMIA) requirements in financial systems assessments.
• Understand and evaluate systems development phases and documentation.
• Plan, execute, and report on information systems controls assessments.
• Utilize GAO, Federal Information Systems Controls Audit Manual, and Federal Audit Manual methodologies to assess cybersecurity, access controls, change controls, and segregation of duties.
• Evaluate controls within ERP systems.
• Prepare summary reports and working papers with detailed findings and actionable recommendations.
• Communicate accurate information effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant business or technical field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in good standing.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant financial or business experience, including at least 1 year in government.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations.
• Knowledge of OMB Circulars A-123, A-127, A-134, and Federal Information Systems Controls Audit Manual.
• Experience working with Department of the Army/Defense Logistics Agency (DoW/DLA).
• Understanding of federal accounting principles and application in various systems.
• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized authority.
• Possession of IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 clearance.

Pay Range and Compensation Package

Salary range: $100,000 to $160,000.
