Your Next Career Move Starts Here!The Role: Systems Administrator Location: Lancaster, SC Type: Direct Hire Position is 100% full time onsite at the Lancaster, SC facilities. Remote or hybrid work schedule is not an option with this position.What You'll Do:For the Systems Administrator position we are seeking and asking applicants questions concerning experience and skills in the following areas (listed in order of importance):PowerShell scripting as it relates to regular, scheduled Windows server OS patching, security updates. Current monthly process involves a lot of custom scripting, all developed by the current admin who has ownership of this duty. Eventually we may migrate to a 3rd party system to manage server patching but right now this is an important skill.Veeam backup software support and administration, support for Quantum hardware system. Day to day proactive checking and ability to take full ownership of the system and troubleshoot issues.Azure and O365 administration - Knowledge of this complex system, policies that control functionality for a domain. Looking for someone who has supported the various aspects of O365 and associated systems (Teams, Exchange, Entra and AD integration). Not looking for someone who resets passwords, adds users to groups, etc. (helpdesk type functionality). Need someone with higher level skills for setting up trusts between domains for sharing, monitoring and adjusting policies associated with Exchange, Teams, One Drive, etc. Proactive monitoring and reviewing of settings to ensure our tenant is locked down as much as possible to prevent holes in the system, including managing AI integrations for O365 users.Virtualization skills and experience - Currently migrating away from VMWare and to Nutanix. Would be great to have a dual Nutanix admin for our current Sr. Systems Administrator who has ownership of the virtualization system. Looking for hands on experience with direct support of hardware and software systems associated with Nutanix.Salary & bonus potential: Salary Range for this position is: $75,000 to $100,000 depending on skills and experience. This role is not a Sr. level position that would have a higher salary range. Candidates are eligible to earn up to 12% of year to date earnings. Required Qualifications:- Education: Must have Associates in a related field but we would prefer to see a Bachelors (not required). - Citizenship: Not looking to provide sponsorship now or in the future. - PowerShell scripting as it relates to regular, scheduled Windows server OS patching, security updates. - Veeam backup software support and administration, support for Quantum hardware system. - Azure and O365 administration. - Virtualization skills and experience. Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelors in a related field. - Hands on experience with direct support of hardware and software systems associated with Nutanix. - Dual Nutanix administration experience.
