About the role

AJD Technologies is seeking a full-time IT Support Specialist to join our team in Northwest Indiana. This role provides direct support to our clients, ensuring their IT systems run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations, servers, and network equipment
• Assist with cybersecurity measures and disaster recovery planning
• Manage Microsoft Office 365 environments and phone systems
• Document support tickets and resolutions in our ticketing system
• Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related field
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel
