IT Support Technician Level 1

Cassia, a nonprofit, senior living organization operating in five states, is hiring an IT Support Technician to join our corporate office support team. In this position, you will provide IT support for end-user equipment and solutions in a fast-paced environment. As an IT Support Technician, you will make decisions to effectively prioritize and execute daily tasks. Our ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, proven analytical and problem solving abilities, and an eye for detail. Position Type: Full-Time, benefit eligible position working Mon - Fri at our corporate office in Edina, MN. This is not a hybrid position. Wage: $22 / hour Location: 7171 Ohms Lane, Edina, MN, 55439 IT Support Technician Responsibilities: Provide first line support to staff requests through phone, e-mail, help desk ticketing system, and walk-upsAssist with troubleshooting and resolving workstation, mobile device, network, and application-related problemsAssist in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of peripheral devices, such as printers and scannersEscalate problems to technicians and Network Operations team as appropriateGather, enter, and maintain accurate information and data regarding end-user issues within designated tracking systemPerform installation, troubleshooting, and repair of workstation and mobile devicesPerform basic Active Directory and Entra management of computers and user accounts including account modification, password resets, and account onboarding & disablingProvide basic support and management for endpoint security, mobile device management, self-service password reset, spam filter and web filterContribute documentation to help desk ticketing system and knowledge base articlesUtilize remote management and support tools to troubleshoot end user devicesProvide assistance with A/V and conferencing solutionsPerform other duties as requested IT Support Technician Qualifications: Associate’s degree in IT/IS/Computer Science or 2+ years of recent related experience required1+ year experience in help desk environment preferred or IT studentMust have PC support experienceValid MN driver’s license requiredExcellent analytical and troubleshooting skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to present ideas in user-friendly, business-friendly and technical language Cassia Benefits: Competitive Pay with experience-based raisesGenerous Paid Time Off (PTO) & 403(b)/401(k) with Employer MatchComprehensive Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life Insurance) for Full-Time EmployeesEmployee Assistance Program with free confidential counseling/coaching for self and family members Pet Insurance About Us: Cassia is a nonprofit, mission-driven senior care organization with over 200 years of experience.
