Job Functions

  • Troubleshoot/repair hardware and software within a networked environment
  • Setup and Configure Windows computers and peripherals
  • Build images for desktops, laptops, and tablets
  • Answer phone calls from users requiring assistance
  • Manage tasks through the Service Desk Plus ticketing system
  • Create the computer images and manage the imaging process
  • Setup and configure smart phones
  • Troubleshoot data transmissions from technicians in the field
  • Malware and virus remediation on end user workstations
  • Maintain a database of IT assets
  • Determine long term strategies for the end using computing environment
  • Aid the Systems Administrators with security planning and implementation
  • Configure and troubleshoot all computer hardware and software issues
  • Resolve issues in person, by phone, or using remote assistance applications
  • Install/analyze software applications
  • Perform preventative maintenance such as operating system and virus patches on servers and end-user workstations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems
  • Windows Patch Management Process knowledge using Manage Engine Desktop Central
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory
  • Manage Engine AD Audit UPS World Ship knowledge
  • Excellent telephone demeanor
  • Experience with the Android operating system
  • Experience with iPhones and iPads
  • Experience working with a wireless carrier
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and perform duties efficiently
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills required
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Two-year Associate Degree in Information Systems or equivalent
  • Past experience working in a corporate networked environment
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
  • Zscaler WebEx and Teams knowledge a plus
  • Experience with NetSuite
  • A+ Certification a plus
  • ITIL certification a plus
