Day-to-day responsibilities

• Provide remote desktop support to resolve critical IT-related issues
• Troubleshoot Tier 2 technical issues
• Deploy and test hardware and software
• Lead Tier 2 technical deployments and training resources for rollout
• Use an enterprise ticketing system to document and track incident tickets
• Provide superior customer service and support
• Resolve technical issues efficiently

Required skills and demonstrated experience

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support on mission IT systems and networks on secure and unsecure fabrics
• Provide strong customer service and problem solving
• Interact with appropriate service providers to resolve IT systems, connectivity, and network issues
• Support VTC to include but not limited to Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and Skype
• Provide mission IT software and hardware support to include but not limited to desktop, software, hardware, printers, uninterrupted power supply (UPS), data transfer requests, and assist with deploying COTS and GOTS applications to meet mission requirements
• Work across multiple organizations with competing priorities to resolve IT systems and networks issues, and provide problem solutions to meet mission requirements while adhering to security policies and plans
• Provide support in mission IT environment to facilitate, enable, and drive IT system requirements to fruition
• Communicate complex technical concepts, requirements, and technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Provide remote desktop support to resolve critical IT-related issues
• Answer user's inquiries regarding computer software and hardware operation to resolve problems
• Use enterprise tools to document and track incident tickets
• Work in a team environment and with all levels of management

Desired skills

• Experience with IT service delivery processes
• Experience multi-tasking in an environment with competing priorities and short suspense timelines
• Experience with the Sponsor's enterprise IT incident ticketing tool

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
• 3+ years of related experience
• TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
• U.S. Citizenship required

Work location and schedule

• Location: Tysons, VA - On Customer Site
• Work Schedule: 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Travel required: Less than 10%
• Telecommuting: Onsite

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $80,179 - $108,477. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
