IT Support Specialist
Job Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, servers, and IT peripherals.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, enterprise applications, servers, storage, and virtualization platforms.
- Perform preventive maintenance, system monitoring, and infrastructure health checks.
- Support LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity.
- Troubleshoot network issues and coordinate with vendors for service reliability.
- Manage Active Directory, user access, and Microsoft 365 services.
- ERP & Application Support:
- Support ERP systems (preferably SAP) and business-critical applications.
- Resolve application issues and coordinate with vendors for escalations.
- Helpdesk & End-User Support:
- Manage IT incidents and service requests within SLA timelines.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support, user training, and guidance.
- Cybersecurity & Business Continuity Support:
- Endpoint security, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiatives.
- Monitor backups, disaster recovery processes, and business continuity activities.
- Asset, Vendor & Plant IT Operations:
- Manage IT assets, software licenses, and vendor relationships.
- Provide IT support for plant operations, remote sites, and critical production environments.
- Support infrastructure upgrades, maintenance activities, and operational continuity.
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in IT Technical Support, Infrastructure Support, Systems Administration, or IT Operations.
- Proven experience in supporting business-critical IT environments.
- Strong hands-on experience in administering and supporting Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise user management in a multi-site industrial setup.
