Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced technical support and troubleshooting for end users at the Anaheim, CA facility of Legrand’s Data, Power, and Control business division, as well as provide remote support for global sites and users.
- Leverage deep knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, network systems, and application environments, including Windows computers, OT systems, and IoT devices, to support manufacturing operations.
- Regularly communicate and collaborate with internal and external IT functional experts, manufacturing staff and business stakeholders to ensure correct and timely support is delivered.
- Manage cybersecurity vulnerabilities and partner with IT staff and business users on cybersecurity initiatives, to implement innovative solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software technical issues.
- Maintain and repair computers and peripheral devices.
- Facilitate new employee setup, deployment, and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment.
- Install and configure software on user machines to optimize system performance.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs with third-party vendors.
- Purchase and provision IT supplies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification preferred.
- 3+ years of IT user support experience preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
