IT Support & Security Specialist

About the role

Adept Consulting Services is seeking an experienced IT Contractor with a minimum of 2 years' experience performing technical work in information technology security and support fields. This is a cross-team position to fulfill duties within our security and help desk teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide general technology support
• Respond to and implement support tickets
• Aid in documenting and managing incidents and vulnerabilities
• Perform network monitoring and reporting
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and policies
• Work collaboratively between teams while demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements

• Experience in information security related support - Required: 2 Years
• Experience in helpdesk related support - Required: 2 Years
• Experience with Microsoft server and workstation operating systems - Required
• Experience with Microsoft O365 Products - Required
• Experience with incident reporting and support ticketing systems - Required
• Experience with network and computer security testing tools - Required
• Experience reading and interpreting security logs and reports - Required
• Experience working with Tenable and Splunk - Required
• Associate's degree or current certifications within information technology - Required
