Specific Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to user inquiries and technical issues via phone, email, IM, ServiceDesk tickets or in-person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems.
- Diagnose and resolve Windows OS problems utilizing Sysinternals utilities.
- Install, configure, image, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
- Develop and maintain Windows OS images.
- Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
- Affiliate with network infrastructure maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with IT team members to implement IT projects and initiatives.
- Document technical solutions, processes, and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users as needed.
General Responsibilities
- Keeps abreast of technological advancements and IT best practices.
- Adheres to IT policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with cross-functional groups to help resolve IT-related issues and requests.
- On-site support and working knowledge to support All IVC locations.
The Candidate
- Education, Experience, and Licenses:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are desirable.
- 3+ years of previous experience in a Sr. IT support or a related role.
- Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Customer-oriented approach to service delivery.
