IT Specialty Analyst - Remote

Responsibilities

• Support and optimize software applications, including builds, upgrades, and system enhancements.
• Analyze business / clinical needs, evaluate software releases and/or new products, and give recommendations to optimize processes and decrease expenses.
• Document workflow assessments to determine functional requirements for optimal utilization of applications.
• Develop system test plans and perform testing of software upgrades and patches.
• Maintain a record of test progress and test results.
• Manage problem, incident, and change requests.
• Provide daily on-call support to the customer base for application-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and end-users to achieve application integration meeting business / clinical needs.
• Communicate software issues, requirements, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Oversee smaller-sized projects or components of projects.
• Coordinate implementation or project planning around software application releases.

Requirements

• Possess in-depth business / clinical and application knowledge and experience.
• Key certification(s) or other credential(s) central to the systems or applications supported (EPIC Resolute Professional Billing certification required).
• Experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree (3 to 5 years of relevant experience).

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience with a degree (Required) or 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree (Required).

Skills

• EPIC Resolute Professional Billing certification.
• Epic Claims certification or EPIC Charge Router certification.
