Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain complex hardware and software systems.
- Install new or modified hardware, operating systems, and applications software.
- Conduct system and applications analysis and recommend solutions to problems.
- Implement system security procedures and identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
- Diagnose and resolve complex system malfunctions and operational anomalies.
Requirements
Must be determined suitable for federal employment, participate in the direct deposit pay program, and obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining complex hardware and software systems.
- Interpreting and enforcing cybersecurity policies, processes, and guidelines.
- Administering and monitoring system security protocols.
- Diagnosing and resolving complex system malfunctions and operational anomalies.
Skills
Must possess the following skills:
- Knowledge of cybersecurity policies, processes, and guidelines.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex system malfunctions.
- Experience with system administration and network operations.
- Ability to administer and monitor system security protocols.
