IT Specialist

About the Opportunity
The IT Specialist role is responsible for maintaining the organization's IT operations by addressing daily technical issues, provisioning devices and accounts, and supporting core systems. This position plays a key role in facilitating smooth technology use across the company and contributes to operational efficiency by supporting system integrations and migrations. The role requires problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic, small team setting.
Responsibilities
- Resolve employee IT requests via Slack, Jira, and other channels
- Provision laptops, user accounts, access, and SaaS applications for onboarding, offboarding, and role changes
- Build and maintain automations, integrations, and custom connections between business systems
- Support mergers and acquisitions system migrations by consolidating tools and retiring duplicate services
- Document processes, identify recurring issues, and improve the employee IT experience
Requirements
- At least 1 year of IT support, Help Desk, or Desktop Support experience (including internships)
- Experience supporting macOS, Windows, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and common SaaS applications
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to shifting priorities in a small team
- Familiarity with AI tools to enhance work efficiency
Pay
- Base salary starting at $70,000, depending on experience
- Full-time compensation includes an Incentive Stock Option grant, subject to Board approval
