Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic IT sourcing initiatives from planning and due diligence through contract execution and ongoing supplier governance.
  • Develop sourcing strategies that optimize cost, value, quality, and supplier performance.
  • Manage complex sourcing events, including RFP development, vendor evaluations, and supplier selection.
  • Conduct spend analysis to identify cost savings and sourcing optimization opportunities.
  • Negotiate technology contracts, including contract redlining and commercial terms, while collaborating with legal teams.
  • Ensure sourcing activities comply with organizational procurement policies and contracting standards.
  • Serve as the primary sourcing advisor for assigned business units.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor supplier financial health, market trends, and performance to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Review existing supplier agreements to optimize pricing, service levels, contract utilization, and overall value.
  • Partner with cross-functional subject matter experts to gather business requirements and support sourcing initiatives.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding budgets, contract terms, and sensitive business information.
  • Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance, service quality, and sourcing processes.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in IT sourcing, strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex sourcing initiatives and RFP processes.
  • Strong IT contract negotiation experience, including contract redlining.
  • Experience negotiating and managing technology vendor agreements.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing methodologies, supplier management, and procurement best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex contractual and business information clearly.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with business leaders, legal teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience analyzing supplier performance, contract utilization, and sourcing opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise-level sourcing or procurement transformation initiatives.
  • Experience developing supplier governance and supplier relationship management programs.
  • Knowledge of technology procurement and enterprise vendor management practices.
