Role Description & Responsibilities
The IT Sourcing Manager - Americas will report to the Director of Procurement Americas. The role can be based in Waltham, MA (US HQ) or New York, NY. 3DS employees enjoy a hybrid work schedule; three days in office, two days remote. You will work closely with the Local and Global Procurement Teams based in Waltham, New York, and France.
- Develop and implement category strategies for IT procurement and sourcing activities.
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing projects including RFx development, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure service quality, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities and industry trends.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, Security, and business stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with organizational goals.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, service-level agreements (SLAs), and contractual protections.
- Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and scorecards.
- Identify and mitigate supply, financial, cybersecurity, and compliance risks within the IT supply chain.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and spend analysis activities.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Drive process improvements and procurement best practices.
- Manage renewals, software licensing, and vendor consolidation initiatives where applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management with a focus on IT.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Experience sourcing IT categories such as SaaS, cloud infrastructure, telecom, hardware, or IT services.
- Knowledge of procurement systems and sourcing tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with ERP/procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, data privacy, and software licensing models.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $85,000 and $115,000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
