Job Summary Our client, a leading energy and utility provider, is seeking an IT Solutions Engineer IV to join their team. This role will lead complex enterprise data platform initiatives and coordinate cross-functional technical teams. Contract DetailsContract Duration: October 26, 2026 – December 31, 2026Location: Oakland, CAWork Arrangement: 90% Remote Core ResponsibilitiesLead the planning and delivery of complex technology and enterprise data platform projectsCoordinate implementations involving Snowflake, Palantir Foundry, Ataccama, and data engineering and management solutionsManage cross-functional technical teams using Agile and Waterfall delivery frameworks.Oversee project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and dependenciesCoordinate delivery of data integration, ETL/ELT, pipeline orchestration, and data warehouse or lakehouse solutionsSupport data governance, master data management, data quality, metadata, and lineage initiativesMaintain project governance and communicate progress, risks, and delivery priorities to stakeholders Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field8+ years of experience managing complex technology or data-driven projects, including 5+ years leading enterprise data platform implementationsExperience delivering projects involving Snowflake, Palantir Foundry, and Ataccama.Knowledge of cloud data platforms within AWS, Azure, or GCPKnowledge of ETL/ELT development, data warehouse and lakehouse architectures, pipeline orchestration, integration frameworks, SQL, and data modelingExperience with master data management, data quality, metadata management, governance frameworks, data lineage, and catalogingProven success managing cross-functional technical teams, Agile and Waterfall delivery, project governance, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)Master’s degree in a related fieldPMP, PgMP, Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent certificationExperience in utilities, energy, healthcare, financial services, or other large-scale regulated industriesKnowledge of data privacy and compliance frameworksExperience with DevOps and DataOps practicesFamiliarity with AI/ML enablement through enterprise data platforms Key Competencies & BehaviorsStrong cross-functional leadership and collaborationClear communication with technical teams and business stakeholdersEffective planning, prioritization, and resource coordinationProactive problem-solving and risk managementAccountability for project delivery and data quality Work EnvironmentLocation: Oakland, CAWork Arrangement: 90% Remote Compensation & BenefitsPay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $73.00 and $105.00.
