IT Solution Architect - SAP (Hybrid)

About the role

A Solution Architect designs comprehensive technical solutions to meet business goals, acting as the bridge between stakeholders and development teams. They analyze requirements, define system structures, select technologies, and oversee implementation to ensure security, scalability, and adherence to budget and strategic goals.

This role supports hybrid work schedules, requiring at least three days in the office (including Tuesdays and Wednesdays), with the third day determined by department needs. Employees must be available to work up to five days in the office for emergencies, training, or other business needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement architecture to meet business needs.
• Gather requirements and functional specifications, assess current solutions, and identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee development teams and regularly update stakeholders on systems architecture projects.
• Review business context for solutions, define vision and requirements, recommend potential options (including RFPs or prototypes), and develop roadmaps for selected solutions.
• Communicate architecture to stakeholders and collaborate with architects and engineers to formalize IT standards and procedures.
• Champion structured approaches to business application solutions, ensuring alignment with technology standards and influencing changes when necessary.
• Direct identification and recommendation of solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options based on productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
• Design solutions to reduce reactive work and improve system architecture.
• Provide guidance to development teams and work with PMO to create project teams.
• Research current and emerging technologies and propose changes as needed.
• Inform stakeholders about problems with technical solutions and assess business impact of technical choices.
• Provide updates on product development processes, costs, and budgets.
• Must be available for emergency restoration assignments and travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education and work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Management or solutions architecture.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with SAP architecture (S4 or SAP RISE preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complexities of technical programs.

Pay

Annual salary range: $133,450.00–$148,280.00. This position is eligible for a potential incentive.
