IT - Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

• Serve as a quality assurance professional responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of cloud-based web applications.
• Work in a fast-paced, Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, QA analysts, and product managers.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks and scripts for UI and REST APIs.
• Blend both automated and manual testing strategies for comprehensive end-to-end testing coverage.
• Perform hands-on testing of Microservices, REST APIs, and integration points.
• Review requirements and design documents to create detailed test plans, strategies, and estimates.
• Utilize Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, Stash, Bamboo) for project management, defect tracking, and documentation.
• Participate in defect triage, risk escalation, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Cook up testing activities between US and remote teams.
• Apply critical thinking to translate complex application flows into structured test cases.
• Perform root-cause analysis and problem-solving using data-driven methods.
• Execute integration tests with understanding of system interdependencies.
• Leverage AI-enabled capabilities to enhance manual, automation, and integration testing.
• Work onsite at least two days per week at a corporate office.
• Bring strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
