Fullstack Java Developer (Remote)

About the role

Join our dynamic team of fullstack Java developers where you'll contribute to innovative solutions and projects. We're looking for a skilled developer with a strong background in Java and fullstack experience.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 8 years in Java development and 3 years of Fullstack experience
• Experience in JAVA application development, web application, batch applications and support
• Experience with Oracle DB query development (including Hibernate in Spring Framework)
• Experience with test automation in unit tests, functional tests, regression tests and performance tests
• Experience with implementing in Playwright and CICD with Jenkins
• Experience with Version One and Agile development

Required Technical Skills

• Expert in Java, especially J2EE, and Spring Framework
• Expert in RESTful API development
• Expert in web page development, including Struts, JSP, HTML, JQUERY, CSS, JSON etc.
• Experienced with Kubernetes, micro-services, event-driven application with Kafka
• Knowledge of best practices in Version Controls (especially GIT)
• Understanding of new technologies in order to assist with migration
• Advanced AI Tooling experience, specifically Github Copilot

Required Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, especially for collaborating on mainframe integration with Java developers and migration planning
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail

Additional Required Skills/Experience

• A minimum of Eight (8) years' relevant experience
• A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required
• If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field then four additional years of related experience is required
• Typically performs all functional duties independently

Additional Provisions

• Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check
• Note: Special credentials (licenses and/or certifications) may be required at the Task Order level on a case-specific basis.
