IT Site Lead

Major Responsibilities

• Directs the support of existing systems, ensuring operational problems are solved promptly and meeting or exceeding user business requirements.
• Coordinates the planning and implementation of system design, configuration, programming, installation, and operations for Site IT.
• Ensures proper functioning of plant information systems, minimizes downtime, and proactively upgrades systems as necessary.
• Aids business operations in using information systems to enhance efficiency.
• Assists in incorporating network and PC recovery procedures into the disaster recovery plan.
• Prepares Request for Proposals (RFPs), bid proposals, contracts, and other documentation for infrastructure projects.
• Negotiates with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors.
• Maintains communications equipment and manages phone system implementation.
• Manages the Plant IT technology stack, including Cisco networks, Dell hardware, Azure stack servers, Windows Server OS, Microsoft Intune, AutoPilot, SharePoint, SAP Corporate ERP.
• Benchmarking, analyzing, reporting, and recommending improvements to the Plant IT infrastructure and systems.
• Develops Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and measures SLA attainment.
• Provides on-call support evenings and weekends as needed.
• Manages and assigns personnel, coaches, and mentors subordinates, and identifies training needs.

• Affirms, develops, retains, and recruits IT talent to support business needs.
• Manages and assigns personnel; devises and evaluates staff work; prepares performance evaluations.
• Coaches and mentors subordinates, identifies training needs, and recommends development programs.

Attributes

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 3+ years of IT Services experience, with an emphasis on service desk management in manufacturing, chemicals, or oil & gas industries.
• Proficiency in IT Management and Governance processes: change management, configuration management, asset management, release and patch management, incident resolution, and request fulfillment.
• Troubleshooting and solving new challenges with established technology.
• Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Ability to manage a large environment with multiple direct reports.

Estimated Base Pay

The estimated base pay for the position is typically between $99,500 - 139,900. The actual base pay may vary based on education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and scope of the role, and could be outside of the posted pay range.
