About the role

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an IT Senior Systems Analyst – SAP Production Planning & Variant Configuration to join our client to support and enhance core manufacturing process systems across a dynamic, multi-site environment. This role focuses on translating operational needs into SAP-driven solutions, ensuring stable production processes, and leading enhancements that strengthen system performance. Working closely with business partners, IT teams, and external resources, you will design improvements, resolve system issues, and help advance key transformation initiatives, including future S/4HANA modernization. You will play a pivotal role in driving efficient, compliant, and scalable production workflows across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with operations, IT, and process owners to understand manufacturing needs, map workflows, and design scalable SAP PP/VC solutions.
  • Oversee daily support activities, triaging incidents, resolving configuration issues, and documenting outcomes to strengthen system reliability.
  • Lead structured change management efforts, ensuring compliant updates, coordinated testing cycles, training plans, and seamless user adoption.
  • Deliver end-to-end project contributions including requirements gathering, functional design, configuration, testing, cutover planning, and go-live support.
  • Manage small or mid-sized projects as needed, guiding resources, monitoring scope, and contributing to internal methodologies and process standards.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A related bachelor’s degree is preferred; equivalent hands-on experience in technology or manufacturing disciplines is also valued.
  • A minimum of 8 years supporting or implementing SAP Production Planning and Manufacturing, including deep experience with Variant Configuration.
  • At least 5 years of experience working directly within production or manufacturing operations.
  • Proven involvement in multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations, including leading PP-focused workstreams across design through deployment.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation trends and emerging technologies that complement modern SAP landscapes.

$125,000 – $150,000 annual salary + bonus + pension

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Hybrid, 2–3 days onsite in Frazer, PA)
