IT Senior Project Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Manage IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring understanding of our priorities.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, timelines, and resource needs.
- Use Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies to guide project success.
- Guide communication between IT, business teams, and leadership, ensuring clear project goals.
- Manage partner expectations and ensure project agreement on our goals.
- Maintain project budgets and ensure cost-effective execution.
- Collaborate with IT PMO, finance, and resource managers for proper staffing and financial tracking.
- Identify potential project risks, ensuring minimal impact on timelines.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate/Collaborate with business relationship managers, project lead, and business lead on project prioritization and resource management.
- Guide IT PMO and IT portfolio performance through development, tracking, and reporting of performance metrics.
- Collaborate with IT Managers on IT resource demand and capacity tracking and analysis to promote work prioritization, resource allocation, and overall decision-making.
- Coordinate with IT leaders to resolve issues/discrepancies related to project priority and resource allocation.
Qualifications
- BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years Portfolio/Project Management experience.
- PMP certification
- Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management approaches.
- Tools & Technology: Experience with project management tools (MS Project Online, ServiceNow).
- Financial & Risk Management: understanding of budget tracking, forecasting, and risk mitigation.
Pay
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $103,200 to $129,000 per year.
