About the role

The Enterprise Technology (ET) Office of the Chief Operating Officer provides project and program management, delivery assurance, and consulting for key programs and projects. The Senior Project Manager completes work with minimal guidance and direction, managing projects with medium to high levels of complexity.

Responsibilities

  • Managing end-to-end project delivery, including estimating, resource demand management, determining project deliverables and timelines, developing a project plan, and managing to the plan.
  • Cooking meetings, preparing meeting minutes, and status reports.
  • Coordinating and leading meetings.
  • Working with team members to resolve issues.
  • Coordinating activities of a project team which may include individuals from multiple teams, departments, and locations.
  • Managing and delivering assigned projects to agreed timescales, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Mentoring team members.
  • Supporting project management methodologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related work experience.
  • Advanced experience using MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Solid understanding of Project Management methodologies.
  • Strong organizational skills (planning, prioritizing).
  • Communication skills (written, verbal, listening).

Qualifications

  • General understanding of the insurance and financial services industry.
  • PREFERRED: PRINCE2, PMI (PMP), Agile project management certification.

  • Compensation: The Salary for this position generally ranges between $77,600 - $128,000 annually.

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $77,600 - $128,000 annually.

Schedule

This is a hybrid position requiring three days in office per week in one of our hub locations (Cedar Rapids, Denver, Philadelphia).
